On Saturday, September 29th The Fiestas De Las Americas was held and Santa Fe South had a float for the parade. Students and teachers were there to help build and create the float that would represent the school. This parade was important because it helped others celebrate Hispanic culture and certain traditions. The people that were involved in the parade and the building of the float gave all their effort to stomp out the other floats and winning an award for having the most spirit on their float.
