The SFS baseball team has high hopes for this spring. They struggled last year in 4A ball. 4A baseball is as good as it gets. Although it may seems odd to speculate, moving up to 5A baseball will get easier. We spoke to first year coach, Will Fears, to get his input. He replied,”The transition should be good for us, in our bracket there is only 2 teams with winning seasons. I think if we average a .500 winning percentage that’ll put us in a good spot for state.”

He also said that they have been grinding everyday on the field and in the weight room. There practice consist of fielding the first half then inter squad scrimmaging the second half. All in all the Saints have set their goals this season and hope to achieve them.
