SFS hosted the first blood drive of this school year! The blood drive was a great way to help out the community and obtain community service. This blood drive was made possible thanks to Stuco. Stuco made sure to inform the whole school by hanging flyers and recruiting students and faculty to leave the fear behind and help those in need. We had close 70 SFS Saints show up and donate blood.

The process was fairly simple this year. The volunteers were fed a snack, they were interviewed about their health, weight and etc. After, the blood was drawn and then they were allowed to have another snack and rest up for a bit to level up any problems. The volunteers were given a free t-shirt for donating. They had the choice of an OU or OSU t-shirt.

If you didn’t have the chance to donate blood or want to help out one more time, Stuco will be organizing a second blood drive during the spring. Currently there is no set date, but any further updates will be posted.
