For Honor is an action fighting game that was published and developed by Ubisoft for console and PC. It was released on February 14, 2017 on Valentines Day. Some may have been celebrating Valentines with their soul mate while others were playing For Honor. The game allows the player to play historical soldiers, including knights, vikings, and samurai. It is set in a Medieval fantasy setting in a third person view.
There are three clans which are The Legion, The Warborn, and the Chosen which represent the knights, the vikings, and the samurai. Each faction has four classes which are Vanguard, the Assassins, the Heavies, and the Hybrids. There are 12 different characters in total. They have to compete against each other in order to gain land and power. The game has both a solo and a multiplayer game mode. The player starts the game having to choose between each of the clans, but if you want to change your mind later you may.
For Honor has a tactical combat system called “Art of Battle” which activates when the player locks on to an enemy. The player can choose how to place and position their weapon in three directions (form above, from the right, and from the left) when attacking an enemy. It has a variety of maps and game modes that are available for the player to use.
If you get the game, have fun and fight the enemy to gain honor for your clan. Find a friend that has the game and play a few matches with them. There is always something for you to do when you play For Honor.
